Wrekin Forest Weddings & Special Celebrations

We have created a beautiful space for you to have your alternative wedding blessing, renewal of your vowes or any other milestone celebration! A totally bespoke, unique and beautiful setting to celebrate with friends and family! Re-create that festival feeling or just embrace the natural beauty of the forest. Enter our wonderful tree lined, lawn & meadow area, with a lovely open space containing your barn, bar area, fire space and log seating & tables. A secret pathway has been created through the woodland for the bride’s arrival.

Come and make this space your own by adding your decorations, perhaps you want bunting to weave through the barn or wild flowers to fill the barn, maybe you wish to personalise the bridal pathway. We will leave the personal touches to you!

Give your special celebration an unique twist and bring it to our woodland setting, you can combine the wonderful setting of our party venue with a little active adventure for all the family at Forest School, perhaps some archery and air rifle shooting or team building fun during the afternoon. Combine our two sites to create your unique experience.

What you will get?

Silver level celebrations – from £1,200

  • includes access for preparation & decorating the day before and on the day of the event, opening up for special deliveries and collections
  • barn with intergrated dance floor, log seating, tables, cushions and rugs
  • covered bar area
  • 3m square catering tent with 3 tables
  • a small dance floor & stage for your band
  • simple decoration including fairy lights & bunting
  • basic music/sound system and small generator for lighting
  • 7.5m Bell Tent set as a lounge/chill out area (could be converted for an overnight sleeping area)
  • a wide variety of garden games, including hoppers, crocquet, swing ball, jenger and more, additional cover may be provided if their is the possibility of rain
  • marshmallows for the fire pit with logs & coal supplied
  • compost toilets
  • five free camping pitches for a one night stay, solar shower, kitchen & eating area & small BBQ,
  • four person pig ark from August 2018, £35 per night
  • two small pop up two person tents are available at £25 per night
  • shepherds hut, fully furnished, with bedding etc £95, second shepherds hut available for £95 per night from April 2019 & additonal night camping at £20 per pitch

  • selection of finger food, wraps & sandwiches with salad garnish & crisps
  • macaroons & small ‘finger’ desserts, eg strawberry tarts, mini lemon meringue pies
  • waiter/waitress & washing up service (4 hrs of four staff)

Additional drinks can be obtained from ‘Cocktails 2 You’, ‘Beer Buz’, Champavan or similar or perhaps provide your own or do a bring & share.

Additional Waiter/Waitress, clearing & washing up service provided at £35 per hour. Clearing up service is chraged at £150, including disposal of recyclables at the tip, clearing of general rubbish and returning the site to its correct layout and will occur the following day. You are responsible for clearing all recycling & rubbish, as well as returning the site to its original layout after your event if you decide not to take up this service. 

Terms & Conditins: Wrekin Forest School will take every care to provide all that you need to make your celebration a success. We have provided a designated space in which to have your celebration and this space is kept, as far as possible, safe for your celebration and for the possibility of overnight camping. The woodland beyond this designated space is not maintained to a safe standard and therefore should not be entered at any time, the main Forest School area should not be explored with being purchased as part of your package. Log seating should be returned to their original positions.

A non-refunadable deposit of £250 should be paid upon booking and final payment should be made a minimum of two days prior to the event date, the deposit is transferable but not returnable. No glass may be used on the site. Music must stop by 11.30pm. Clearing the site to a good standard is the responsibility of the client, staff clearing may be purchased at £150, which includes disposal of recycling and general rubbish

Forest School adventure activities take place in the School space and must be led by a qualified leader provided by WFS. We can provide archery, air rifle shooting, woodcraft and low ropes as part of your celebration using qualified staff at an additinal cost. Priced upon request.

If you choose the basic option I will leave you to sort all your extras out, decoration and personalisation, arrangements for food and drink, setting up & clearing up.

We are however happy to provide waiter and waitress service and clearing up post event service at £35 per hour. All recycling & rubbish must be removed by you in all cases unless you request a clearing up service at £150!
