Go wild packages, an opportunity for adventure for all ages & abilities to be inspired by the great outdoors, to learn new skills & build self-esteem.

‘Teens Go Wild’, ‘Go Wild Team Building’, ‘Go Wild Art’, ‘Go Wild Bushcraft Camps’, ‘Cubs & Scout, Rainbows, Brownies & Guides Go Wild’ – overnight back to basics camping, bushcraft & forest school adventure!

‘Teens Go Wild & other Go Wild & Skills Camps’, Families & Organised groups; we can do a bespoke evening, day & weekend events for you, an example of a weekend adventure can be seen below.

This is the perfect opportunity for adults and those families with older children, who just want to have fun in the woods and rekindle all the joys of their childhood!

You too can now explore this amazing environment and learn new skills through our low ropes and team building course, race the obstacle course, woodcraft centre, air rifle shooting, archery, fire lighting and bushcraft & BBQ cooking, rope swing and an overnight camp on our lovely camp site or be brave & build your own shelter to complete the impact! Sessions for groups are from £30/hour for groups of up to 30 children/young people accompanied by their usual staff ratio.

A two day all inclusive camp could look like this:

Day 1:

Arrival at 10.30am, set up tents & settle into our well equipped camp site, use your own tents or use our tents or hire a shepherds hut, we have a 2/4 berth pig ark, two shepherds huts, two set up six berth tents, a four berth tent & more. The camp site has all you need from pots & pans to crockery & cutlery, BBQ’s & fire pits.

12 noon – Drinks and soup/sandwich lunch (provided)

1pm – Activities begin – archery, shelter building, fire lighting & create your own lasagne for tea,

free exploration, art school, zip line, rope swing, orienteering, scavenger hunts and mud kitchen and much more

5pm – cooked evening meal, provided & WFS staff leave you at 6.30pm with a bag of marshmallows and the hot chocolate

Day 2: 

Breakfast is provided and cooked by you

9.00am – WFS staff arrive & activities begin –

Woodwork

Foraging 

Pizza kitchen

Low ropes

Free exploration, rope swing, zip wire, mud kitchen etc

1pm – cooked lunch, ingredient provided by us

3pm – vacate the site

Overnight stays include WFS staff leading and assisting with activities, meals, soft & hot drinks and snacks, including marshmallows, but not overnight supervision!

Price – from £40 per person (min payment £510 per weekend, includes a minimum of 2 WFS staff, accompanying group staff/volunteers attend free)

WFS staff / attendee adult ratio must be at least 1:8.

April to September inclusive ONLY

Please enquire for rates if you have a small family group, we are always happy to accommodate other needs.

In the evening all you need to do is wash tea down with a mug of hot chocolate or a glass of refined grape or a drop of fermented grain, the choice is yours! We will provide your main meals. You need to bring everything you want to cook on the open fire or BBQ for breakfast, sausages, bacon, eggs, you let you imagination go wild and give it a go!!

We have fresh water, I will provide logs for the fire, grilling rack, kettle, BBQ’s, compost toilets etc.

I am a qualified primary school teacher, a Level 3 qualified Forest School Leader, hold a current outdoor first aid certificate and hold a GNAS Archery Leaders certificate. My staff and I hold current DBS certificates and are either qualified or have training in child & outdoor educational orientated skills.
